Northeast Seattle
Our Northeast Seattle pilot incorporates parts of the Wedgwood, Bryant and Ravenna neighborhoods. We are excited to launch our Puget Sound efforts in the active and environmentally aware northend of Seattle with Sound Alliance Members, University Unitarian Church and Temple Beth Am as anchors. The response from the Wedgwood Community Council, Audobon Society and neighborhood schools has been fantastic.
March 23rd Update:
Audits are underway!- We began large scale audits on February 15 and have been conducting 2 audits per day since then we plan to increase this to 4 audits per day by the end of March. Our audits have been going smoothly and we are pleased to report that there are tremendous energy savings opportunities in most homes in this community.
Energy Consultations and Retrofits- We have also been able to start meeting with many of you to review the results of your audits. In our consultations we are able to demonstrate all possible retrofit options, incentive programs and tax credits. We are also exploring a program with the Union Credit Union to provide low interest loans for North Seattle. The balance of our pilot retrofits will be underway this week and large scale retrofits will ramp up later this month.
To those who are waiting- Thank you for your patience- we are getting to everyone as quickly as possible while ensuring we deliver the efficiencies and quality you should expect.
To help expedite this process, it is important that you complete All forms before we schedule your audit. This includes a Seattle City Light Release, a Puget Sound Energy Release or Oil Use Form, and a Customer Input Form. We will be contacting you shortly if we have not received all of your forms.
Northeast Seattle Map - shows the boundaries of the pilot project. If you are outside of the pilot project, we will not be able to assist you at this time but we hope to return the neighborhood with an expanded project in the future. Please sign-up to help volunteer or for an audit/retrofit at a later date.
